Good Afternoon, Dolls!
I’m writing you from a pile of pillows, mountains of cough
drops and my Roo dog snuggled up beside me. My darling sister graciously
decided to share her head cold from hell with me, so here I am, trumpeting into
tissues like an elephant and sipping hot tea. BUT, I am happy to report that my
attitude is much better than my current physical state. Being cooped up in bed
ensures that I’m getting lots of work done, and since it is grey and rainy, I
kind of like it.
After Wednesday’s post I received so many incredibly kind and
thoughtful emails and notes…thank you so much. I love how we are all struggling
with something, whether it’s physically, emotionally or socially and the
struggle brings us all together and lets us know that we are not alone. I love
you Dolls!
What are your plans for the weekend? Anything new and
exciting? I will hopefully put the finishing touches on my bedroom, complete an
article I’m writing for a super cool magazine and chug green smoothies like
they’re going out of style in the hopes of kicking this cold in the rear end!
Here are some links for you to enjoy…
As the official 2014 Missouri Honey Princess I have to say take some pure honey to help your cold!! In your tea, or just by the spoonful it should help!! I hope you feel better soon! I had that same crap last week it wasn't fun at all!!

Erin that is seriously so cool! I will definitely try that, thank you for the advice! And it's not fun at all, I feel like I have the plague!! LOL
DeleteWell my lovely dear, as of today I technically only have 4 more days of actual class left in my Final Fall term, Ever! Tomorrow the girls and I are headed to the gym for some cardio, I'm even throwing random spurts of running in on that old treadmill. And then Sunday I'm helping my roomy cut up a cow elk. Next week since I can't go home for Thanksgiving I'm going to work with all the new colts I just "bought". At least 1 is mine, the rest I have sold and am selling. Fabulous! Oh, and who knew how great the right size bra could possibly be?! Not I! I got sized this summer, turns out I was wearing a WAY too small bra. Guess I grew some since ohhh highschool :). I also didn't realize the center of a bra Could sit flush against my chest. I'm like a brand new woman! Haha Xo
ReplyDeleteAmanda, I am so stinking excited for you about school! That's the best feeling, the sweet taste of freedom! hahaha Your knee must be healing up well if you're running some, I'm so happy for you! WHOOP WHOOP! And who knew about the right bra size?!?!?! Gotta keep the girls happy! ;)
