8 Rules To Be Successful In Anything

Maybe it’s the caveman in us, but when we humans start a new hobby or career and don’t see some sort of success right away, we get really frustrated. Whether you are an aspiring hairstylist, an up and coming reining cow horse trainer or a cowboy, by following these 8 guidelines you really won't be able to NOT succeed.

1.     Show up early and be the last to leave.
2.     Learn to accept constructive criticism.
3.     Be kinder than is necessary.
4.     Be persistent.
5.     Utilize your mentors.
6.     Set goals.
7.     Don’t complain.
8.     Realize that you will fail, but that it is an opportunity for you to try again,
just more wisely this time.

Wanting to be the best is not something to be ashamed of and hidden away in the dark corners of our heart. We are CALLED to be our best, to sacrifice until we have achieved greatness, if for no other reason than to be able to light the way for someone else.

Any fool can limp along and just get by. But you? You should thirst, hunger, and seek after greatness, no matter what form that greatness takes, until success is yours.
