Fall In Love With A Man

Fall in love with a man.

Not a boy who has “swag” or tells you that you’re hot instead of beautiful, but a man who has been raised to love women by a strong woman.

Fall in love with a man who doesn’t need to put you down in order to feel better about himself.

Fall in love with a man who you respect as a horseman, a stockman and as a gentleman. At all levels he will either push you to greater heights or pull you down. It’s your choice.

Fall in love with a man who stops to pick you flowers just because, who will scrape you a cowhide and will take you to church.

Fall in love with a man who you wouldn’t be afraid to have spend an afternoon with your father…unsupervised.

Fall in love with a man who reads.

Fall in love with a man who believes in something bigger than himself and is willing to stand up for those beliefs.

Fall in love with a man who knows that when you say “Two sugars, please” you really mean three.

Fall in love with a man that knows how to play.

Fall in love with a man who is your friend first, trusted advisor, teacher and finally…
Fall in love with a man who is deserving of you to hand him your precious heart.

  1. I love the picture! I remember that horse - and of course the people in it. That was a fun place to go.

  7. I forget who rode him then, maybe Cam. He became Susan Hardenbergh's main horse for a long time. Then the last few years Jack Huyler rode him. I'm not sure if he is still around or not, he was getting pretty old last I seen him. His name was 'Cat'. We were so little back then! I remember John Dog peed on my leg there one time! I know, gross, but it was kinda funny. I guess I wasn't moving fast enough.

  9. I enjoyed this post as well. These are all good reminders for us gals to look at when we might be overwhelmed by 'feelings' to make sure our heart isn't duping us into falling for one who isn't The One.
