Today, this came package came in the mail.
Dan and Hanna Conway of Horny Toad Saddlery (how can you not
love the name??) sent me all these goodies and they are so amazing that I had
to share them all with you!
Several years ago, Dan made me a set of lizard
earrings because my nickname is Lizard, and I always get compliments on them.
The knife is made out of a hardwood called Hedge, which apparently it makes a fantastic firewood and stays the true
yellow you see in in the pictures. Dan’s father made the handles and as Dan says,
he “scratched them ‘up.”
Pretty nice scratchings, Dan!!

Thanks guys, I’m headed to Bakersfield tomorrow for a
