You all remember our totally awesome Buckaroo Barbie March
interview with Chelsea Barney? Ya? Of course you do. Her boyfriend is reining
cow horse trainer Clayton Edsall and he is looking for an assistant. If you
want to improve your horsemanship or hope to cowboy one day, working for a
trainer will only help you hone your skills.
Here is the ad that was posted on their Facebook page:
“We are
looking for an Assistant to join our team at Clayton Edsall Cow Horses. Horse
experience is required, along with a good work ethic and positive attitude.
This is not a part time job, we ride six days a week and we work until the job
is done. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn proven colt
starting and performance horse training techniques from Clayton. The position
is salaried and we can provide housing. Please message us if you are
interested. Thank you.”
I worked
for cow horse trainer Jay McLaughlin when I was in high school and it was one of
the hardest and greatest learning experiences of my life. Just be prepared to work your ass off.
If you’re
interested, call Clayton Edsall Cow Horses at (406) 925-0786 or message him on Facebook and tell him we sent you!
