Having troubles settling in? Feel like you’re slugging away for nothing? You keep trying and enjoy where you are right now. You are building the foundation for tomorrow’s future.

There are a multitude of ways that you can feel that you’re behind if you start comparing yourself to friends, family, co-workers…

But just stop right there! There is no one else like you! No one else can live out your life story like you can and wherever you are RIGHT NOW, no matter how frustrating it feels, is where you need to be! Enjoy the ride and know that you are one of a kind. Of course your story is going to be different than everyone else around you…no one can have quite the same story you do or play your part with the same amount of “flair” that you will…you are the main character in this particular story and no one can take your place.

I can't tell you how behind I used to feel in so many different ways...like college for example. When I graduated high school I went straight to work. I didn't start college until I was here and sick with Lyme and it seemed like all my friends were graduating college and getting started with their careers, heading out in life and I was just going backwards. It was terribly frustrating at times but it was right where I needed to be...while I was fretting everything sort of just fell into place and I am SO glad that my story is written the way it is.                                                                        

So calm down for a minute and quit thinking that everyone is leaving you in the dust…you are right on target and you are right where you need to be.
